My figurative painting She Sells Sanctuary was awarded second place. I was grateful to juror Ron Stocke for describing how the painting moved him to award it a prize. Three paintings of mine were accepted into the small works gallery and one sold. I’m happy to have had work invited into the Festival galleries again this year!

You could also find me in the Plaza Room as a member of the Edmonds Art Studio Tour. We held a "Preview" of what you'll see on the self guided Tour that takes place annually in September. This year I displayed a mix of gallery paintings and small works for sale and presented a couple demonstrations in oil painting techniques and different color palette use.
When the day was over on the last day of the Festival I was marveling at the speed with which we packed everything up. It took hours to set up and minutes to break it down and move it out. Click the image below to view a time lapse of the process. |
