Cycling Cambodia with Grasshopper tours offered an opportunity to experience the daily lives of Cambodians through a more realistic lens. To really experience a place like Seim Reap you need to get out of the city and away from the crowds at the temples. The tour was very well organized and managed by experienced personnel who knew many of the locals we encountered. After cycling through the countryside the tour continued in canoes on the Mekong though nomadic floating neighborhoods and Mangrove forests. Just be sure to use plenty of insect repellent if you go.
